NDLEA Recruitment 2022 Requirements

The general entry requirements for direct entry applicants are as follows:

Must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
Must have scored at least 200 points on the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) aptitude test administered by NYSC in the current session, or any subsequent year of recruitment exercise conducted by NYSC for candidates who have not entered the service already if they wish to join the NDLEA Recruitment 2022.

General Requirements for NDLEA Recruitment 

The general entry requirements are as follows:

You must be a Nigerian citizen; You must be at least 21 years old; and
You must have not less than 2 years of experience in the security industry (if you do not have any, you can write an essay explaining why you believe that you may still be eligible).

All certificates must be accompanied by evidence of complete NYSC discharge or certificate of exemption.

If you have completed any course at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), you may apply along with your transcript and proof of payment.

A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.

Candidates must not be less than 1.7 meters tall for males and 1.64 meters tall for females.

Age limit:

Applicants should have attained the age of 21 years and above at the time of recruitment. Those who are below this age will not be considered for appointment.

Educational Requirements:

Candidates must have a minimum of ND in Chemistry, Biology, or Physics from recognized institutions or universities with at least 5 O/L Credits passes including Mathematics, English Language, and any other relevant subjects such as Economics, Geography, and Technical Drawing (a pass in any one of these subjects will suffice).

Physical Requirements:

Candidates should be physically, mentally and psychologically fit to perform the duties assigned to them under this recruitment process. Candidates with missing limbs or limping cannot apply as they will not be able to carry out their duties efficiently while on duty; they may also pose health risks to themselves or others around them due to their disability status (elderly people who require wheelchairs are exempted from this requirement, however).
